Well I just removed my tint from the rear window.

Just got windows tinted can i use rear defrost. I think they have rear shades but Im not sure. Double layering is ok as long as its not a moving window. I used a small garment steamer to steam the tint off and was really careful removing the tint and glue without damaging the rear window defrost or the built-in antenna lines. I thought that there is some kind of a sticker but just asked the seller to make sure what that is and she said that the vision through the rear window has gradually deteriorated over the last years and she thinks thats due to the wear and tear of the de-mister.

Just act dumb and if anything tell them your friends car isnt like that. Dont tell them anything and just have them fix it. I double layer all my vehicles in the back. I was all proud of myself and smiling ear-to-ear admiring my perfect removal job.
